InterReg – Create Interpolation Graphs
The first thing you need to know about InterReg is that it is a mathematical software application for Windows-powered machines. And more to the point, it is a tool for interpolation and regression. You can use InterReg to create interpolation graphs and you can also use it to do curve sketching, integration, and statistics.
You need two things to be able to run InterReg. You will need Microsoft’s Windows operating system, any version from Windows XP to Windows 8, and you will need Microsoft’s .NET Framework, version 4.0 or newer.
To get InterReg up and running you need to complete a standard installation process. Download a 2.4MB installer, run it, follow the instructions presented by a setup wizard, and you’re done.
The graph you are working on is presented front and center on the application’s interface; around it there are panels, buttons, and shortcuts for various features and functions. The interface provides support for 2 languages: English and German. It also provides support for multiple GUI Styles: Standard, Vista (Blue), Windows 7 (Black), Studio 2010, and more.
Several types of calculations can be performed with InterReg: linear interpolation, regression of arbitrary functions, crossing of two curves, integrals using the Simpson algorithm, median statistics, function plotting, and more. To help you with your calculations, InterReg features import/export sample points, undo/redo, print/print preview, and full screen mode.
Please note that InterReg is free to use for a trial period of 30 days.
The bottom line is that if you need a very nice tool for interpolation and regression calculations, then you need to go get InterReg.
Pros
InterReg works with any Windows edition from XP onward. The interface provides support for multiple styles; the interface is available in two languages. Several types of calculations can be performed with InterReg.
Cons
30-day trial.
